Our Mission
Tacoma Actors Repertory Theatre (TART) Intimate Theatre, Accessible Art. TART’s mission is to present extraordinary theatre in an intimate space, emphasizing the use of classical technique, in rotating repertory with a resident company of artists; to educate and inspire the public through programs that foster an understanding and appreciation of great plays and playwrights; and to train the next generation of classical theatre artists.

Our Vision
Tacoma Actors Repertory Theatre is a regional, professional, non-profit theatre that produces small scale, professional, high-quality plays that are not afraid to get the blood pumping. It inspires and engages its audience.

Original works, classics and new plays from recent Off and Off Off Broadway seasons are included in the repertory. The benchmarks of TART productions are “out-of-the-mainstream” and actor-centered, with suggestive, theatrical design that relies on the imaginary forces of the audience.
